Using electric cars as emergency power (V2L)
Cyclone Gabrielle has hit New Zealand hard, leaving thousands of homes and businesses without power. One solution to this has been the deployment of BYD Atto 3 electric cars with Vehicle to Load (V2L) adapters, turning each each electric car into a mobile power station, as you can see in the video below:
