This MG4 is a big deal & it might be My New Favorite
The MG4 is finally here in New Zealand, and honestly, it’s a stunner. The entry model slips under $40k after the rebate with 350 km of range, while this Essence 64 I’ve been driving packs in more gadgets, a bigger battery, and 435 km per charge for $48k. You’ll be seeing these everywhere soon.
After giving it the full treatment — motorways, backroads, even the water test — I’m impressed. It looks sharp, drives brilliantly with rear-wheel balance, and charges fast enough for road trips. A few quirks, sure, but for the price it’s possibly the best-value EV in the country. Might even be my new favourite.
