RACE ACROSS AUCKLAND!
This week I jumped on something a bit different – the Benno Boost Speed e-bike. It’s electric, it’s grunty, and it’s built to carry just about anything: kids, groceries, or even a week’s worth of shopping. With a Bosch motor and 85 Nm of torque, it eats Auckland’s hills for breakfast and still has the legs to hit the trails on the weekend.
To really put it to the test, I lined up a race across Auckland against two of my coworkers – one in a car, the other on a bus . The winner being rewarding with a prize fish and chips.
Let’s just say it didn’t exactly go to plan… lifts, shortcuts, detours, and some serious surprises along the way. Who came out on top? You’ll have to watch to find out.
