BYD Atto 3: Run Flat Test
This week’s adventure: drive the BYD Atto 3 Standard Range until it dies. The official range is 345 km, I got 317 km—pretty solid. Comfy, loaded with gadgets, and perfect seat height for us slightly older types.
And the highlight? I fried chips with the vehicle-to-load adapter. Yep, my car literally cooked lunch.
It’s sprightly enough for a family car, handles New Zealand roads, and stays efficient even with heating on. Charging takes a bit, but paired with ChargeNet it’s no drama. A total win for Kiwi families.
