Just took the Hyundai Ioniq 6 Long Range on a proper road trip – Auckland to Taupō and back, 533 km, no charging stops – and it nailed it. Officially it’s rated at 614 km, and in the real world I squeezed out 532 km with 8% battery still left. Efficiency was insane at 13 kWh/100 km, making this the longest-range EV I’ve ever driven.
