For the incredible tenth episode of Coffee with Gavin and Jacques, we dedicate a large part of the show to discussing books and movies. Mostly because I brought a 20 kilogram bag of books to give to Eleven Books & Coffee; the cafe in which we record the world’s most pointless podcast.
We also answered your listener feedback, and oh boy, did we have a lot this week! We received a bounty of emails and messages from literally one of you, whom I subsequently alienated. Yeah… Sorry about that, Michael. We also discuss intellectual films and discover a hidden pocket in the cafe which has a bottle of whiskey. The cafe owner Ivan also tried to rope a poor woman into podcast, I make Belgian jokes at the exact moment when there are two Belgians in the cafe. We also speak a little Slovak and leave the final word to the proprietor.
Today’s show is pointless fun so click on the big red “Play” button below and enjoy it. And follow in the footsteps of Michael and leave a comment about the podcast. Though you might be mocked, so be prepared… 🙂

You guys are so great. I think you’re podcasts are getting better and more funny, each time a new one is released. By the way, my last name (Fuglsang), Fugl means bird and sang means song in Danish. And in German it’s pronounced Vogelzang, which one of you guy did, and that’s very fine with me. I’m so surprised that you talked about me in your podcast. Hope it won’t be the last time 🙂 Until the next podcast, I wish you a great week. Have a good one. /Michael
Thanks for the kind words! And for being a good sport! 🙂
Ahoj guys, this is Ursula who is studying slovak thanks to Gav`s slovak-course.Your podcasts are really witty and relaxing and now I know where to get a book when I come over next time in November. If there is one left still, of course. For I`m not subscribed on fb and don`t want to I need a direct information: what`s the name of the band accompaning the video “a little road trip”? It`s such nice music that brings me into good mood! I wish you a good time, I`m off for some holidays now without internet-connection,yeah!
greetings from Ursula from the bavarian moutains
Ahoj! Annoyingly, I don’t have the original video montage files for my old Kiwi EV videos, so unfortunately I can’t remember the names of some of the background music I used. I’ll have to tell Jacques you think our podcasts are witty. I think you’re an excellent liar! 😀
